Join a naturalist with the Forest Preserves of Cook County for a one-hour trail walk. We will meet at the Reception Desk in the Interpretive Building. This event will take place rain or shine. Limit 25. Ages 18+. 

Come to the Library and have some fun with stories, songs, and more!  Registration will begin 10 minutes prior to the start of the program in the Ground Floor Meeting Room.  Space is limited to the first 20 children and caregivers.

Catch us at the Hills Farmers Market for a fun and fresh storytime! Children of all ages and their caregivers.  

Join the Writer's Critique Group on the second Saturday of each month from 10am–12pm. Whether you are a published writer or an aspiring writer please join us for a discussion, feedback, and improvement suggestions of a member's works.

Lego lovers, unite! Get your hard hat on and get to building. We’ll let you borrow our Legos, but you’ll have to bring your creativity to match the given challenge. Limit 20. Ages 6+

Come to The Hangout for a fun and retro craft.  Each week, we will travel back in time to create some groovy, or even rad, crafts.  Limit 15.  Ages 10–17.

We will start each class with a read-aloud book.  Then, we will discuss the actual science before we play a game and complete a hands-on project.  Limit 15.  Ages 6+.

Stretch.  Meditate.  Relax.  We are pleased to partner with The Do Good Movement to bring yoga and mindfulness to our Library.  Yoga mats will be provided.  Limit 20.  Ages 6+.
