It’s that time of year where we all begin to fidget! Join us as we learn to make our own fidget toys to help us get through the end of the school year. Limit 20. Ages 6+.

Connect with other people who love to read and join us at the Library for engaging conversation about fiction and nonfiction titles selected by Adult Services Librarians.

Come explore the basics of your iPhone 8 or later and its operating software, iOS 18.3.2. Use your iPhone to follow along. Limit 20. Ages 18+. 

Pajamas!  Stories!  It’s bedtime at the Library!  Bring your favorite stuffy to the Library’s pajama-themed storytime! Children of all ages and their caregivers; please register all attendees. Limit 20.

Get ready to jam out during this fun and exciting take on the classic game of bingo where songs replace the numbers on your bingo card.  Try to guess the songs and walk away with a prize.  Limit 40.  Ages 18+. 

Come create some fun crafts from recycled materials and learn about ways to make our lives more environmentally friendly. Limit 15. Ages 10-13.

Use some yarn to make a rainbow full of color and a few floating bottom clouds! Kits are first come first serve. Ages 6+.

Just as a printing press layers color after color to create an image, attendees will design and cut apart a styrofoam-embossed image into various color plates and print a pet graphic! Only one person is allowed per registration.

Start the summer out right with a cool new pair of decorated shades! Limit 20. Ages 6+. 

Calling all gamers for a fun night of games, snacks, and friends at the GHPLD board game cafe! Come play a game from the Library's collection or bring your own at this open-house style game night.

The Hills Chamber of Commerce and City of Hickory Hills have teamed up to bring a farmers market to town.

Come to the Library and have some fun with stories, songs, and more!  Registration will begin 10 minutes prior to the start of the program in the Ground Floor Meeting Room.  Space is limited to the first 20 children and caregivers.

Come to socialize with friends and neighbors in this casual, fun space!  Board games, puzzles, coloring, and coffee will be provided.  Limit 30.  Ages 18+.   

Cody Clark will be presenting “Your Differences Make You Magical”. Through magic, Cody will show you how to be a good friend, how to work through challenges, and why our differences are what make us special. Limit 50. All ages.

Join us for our exciting Summer Challenge Kick-Off event, and Level Up at Your Library! Once again, Rainbow Cone will be giving out FREE sweet treats to all Summer Reading & Activity Challenge registrants.

Live out your Food Network dreams in this hands-on cake-decorating class! Learn all the tips and techniques needed to be a true cake boss with Sherry from Frost with Us. Limit 12. All ages.

Lego lovers, unite! Get your hard hat on and get to building. We’ll let you borrow our Legos, but you’ll have to bring your creativity to match the given challenge. Limit 20. Ages 6+

Join a naturalist with the Forest Preserves of Cook County for a one-hour trail walk. We will meet at the Reception Desk in the Interpretive Building. This event will take place rain or shine. Limit 25. Ages 18+. 

Stop in and get those little fingers moving with a fun and simple craft.  Supplies are first come first serve, but you are welcome to pop in and out.  Ages 3–6.
